The June 2025 Brawl Talk arrived like a parade through Starr Park, and by 2026 its footprint is still visible across Brawl Stars. Supercell’s broadcast team did not simply announce a patch; they told a story about a trophy ladder turning into a road trip, about masteries giving way to records, and about two strange new fighters stepping out of the swamp and the undergrowth. Players who watched the show in 2025 saw a game preparing for a long journey, and the 2026 arena still carries the marks of that journey.

A Road Through Starr Park
What happens when a trophy ladder becomes a journey through a theme park? The June 2025 Brawl Talk answered with a complete Trophy Road rework. Instead of a straight climb, the road became a tour through Starr Park, launching with two worlds: Town Square and Retropolis. Players could earn Coins, Power Points, Legendary Starr Drops, Regular Starr Drops, and Brawlers as they moved forward. The rewards were boosted, and Hypercharged Starr Drops entered the road for the first time. The road also stretched to 100,000 Trophies instead of 75,000, a change that made veteran players stare at their profiles and wonder how much farther the horizon had moved.

In 2026, that rework remains one of the update’s clearest signatures. Rare and Super Rare Brawlers became tied to Trophy Road progression, and the road itself became the only path to those unlocks. It was a bold redesign, and it turned a familiar climb into a narrative of places rather than numbers.
Two New Brawlers, Two Strange Stories
Would a shy mechanic from Love Swamp become a hunter? Alli’s story said yes. The Mythic Assassin arrived with a trait that made her faster near low-HP enemies, turning weakness into a beacon. Her main attack, Swamp Swipe, let her chase wounded targets and finish them off, and in water or bushes it became a leap for surprise attacks. Her Super, Stalker, provided pulsing stealth and boosted Swamp Swipe’s damage based on enemy health. The healthier the target, the harder the hit, which gave Alli a strange and memorable rhythm. She arrived in July 2025 alongside the 29 Gem Hunter-Gatherer Alli skin.

Trunk told a different story. What if a fake tree was actually controlled by ants? The Epic Tank scattered ants around the map, and standing near them increased his movement and attack speed while weakening enemy damage. His main attack was a spinning strike similar to Carl’s Super, but enemies took more damage the farther they stood from the center, and the spin tossed ants as it turned. His Super was a dash that damaged enemies and left a trail of ants behind. Trunk joined after Alli in August 2025 with the 29 Gem Swimming Trunk skin.

Three Modes, Three Flavors
The update introduced three fresh modes, each with its own personality. Dodge Brawl looked like Brawl Ball, but the ball became a weapon: teams threw it at enemies to eliminate them and earn points, with the first team to 10 points winning. Knight Fight arrived with the Knights of the Starr Table season and asked teams to capture each other’s Trophies and carry them home, like a Capture the Flag tale with no throwing allowed. Token Run was a reskinned version of the Uno collaboration mode, where players collected Starr Park arcade Tokens, could not jump while holding one, and followed a locked collection order for better balance.

Records Replace Masteries
Why trade Masteries for Records? The June 2025 Brawl Talk framed the change as a new achievement system. Records let players unlock different records for all Brawlers, each offering unique rewards. Completing them earned Record Points, which raised an overall Record Level displayed on the profile. Players could also earn unique Battle Cards as they grew. Most Records rewarded normal Starr Drops, while the challenging ones offered Legendary Starr Drops and unique Titles. In 2026, the system feels like a scrapbook of Brawler histories rather than a simple mastery bar.

Angels, Demons, and a Packed Skin Calendar
The Angels and Demons event returned in two separate mini events running for 12 days, giving players another chance at Angelic and Demonic Drops and new Powers. The Angel event brought new Angelic skins for Meg, Buster, and 8-bit, plus returning favorites such as Dark Angel Edgar and Chromas. The Demonic event brought Powers and new skins for Fang, Bull, and Gus, along with Demon Mortis and Chromas. Both events were set for July and August 2025.

The skin calendar also told its own story. The Legends of the Underworld season arrived in July with Hades Mortis as the Brawl Pass skin, supported by Serapis Mortis and Pluto Mortis Chromas, plus Hypnos Sandy, Pegasus Berry, Icarus Bonnie, Sheepish Darryl, and Persephone Lumi. The Knights of the Starr Table season brought King Starrthur Bo as the Brawl Pass skin, with King Archer Bo and Knight Bo Chromas, alongside Knight Amber, Knight Doug, Knight Jacky, Knight Lily, and Knight Belle. A new Ranked Season began on July 17, 2025, with a possessed Dynamike Ranked skin for the Pro Pass and ten reward stages.

Nine Hypercharges and Balance Shifts
Nine new Hypercharges rolled out in two batches, giving familiar Brawlers new tricks. The list became a talking point among players in 2025 and remained a reference point in 2026.
| Brawler | Hypercharge | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Lumi | Drum Solo | The Super’s final explosion unleashes extra blasts on both sides |
| Doug | Free Toppings | A buffed ally can copy Doug’s main attack |
| Kit | Making Biscuits | The Super still stuns, but Kit can move and attack; healing and Yarn Ball bounces improve |
| R-T | 360-Degree Surveillance | The Hypercharged Super triggers damaging lasers around R-T |
| Chuck | Full Steam Ahead | The next dash has unlimited range and leaves damaging steam |
| Shade | The Frightener | Main attacks deal extra damage during the Hypercharged Super |
| Moe | The Big Cheese | The driller gains long range and lasts longer |
| Draco | Fire and Flames | The Dragon breathes more flames in a wider area and longer range |
| Bonnie | Daredevil | Landing and taking off can stun enemies and spit damage-dealing teeth |
Balance changes also reshaped old favorites. Draco’s Super began showing its duration. Bull’s Super gained variable range: hitting an enemy while charging stopped Bull and slowed nearby enemies, while his Stomper Gadget was revamped to briefly stun on impact. Doug received a full revamp with a new trait that charged his Super while healing teammates, extreme homing on his Super for teammates, and a Fast Food Star Power that fully healed him when reviving a teammate. The update also added True Gold and True Silver skins for Kaze and Jae-yong, plus 29 Gem skins such as Biker Buster, Jackpot Griff, Eggsplosion Tick, and Phantom Poco, and six Kit Chromas for World Cat Day.
By 2026, the June 2025 Brawl Talk reads less like a single announcement and more like a chapter opening. It turned Trophy Road into a map, swapped Masteries for Records, introduced Alli and Trunk, and filled the calendar with knights, underworld gods, angels, demons, and Hypercharged surprises. Players may still argue about which change mattered most, but the road through Starr Park clearly kept going.
